In 2000, "Mr.Shiraz" exploded onto the live scene and have emerged as one of the UKs & Europe's brightest young stars. They deliver an adrenaline fuelled live show described by Metal Hammer as a passion and energy most bands can only dream of!. Success for Mr.Shiraz has come as fast and furious as their high octane ska/core live shows, with the band supporting some of the biggest names around Europe and are now a red hot favourite with their ever increasing army of fans.

In 2001, Mr.Shiraz played the illustrious Carling Festival normally reserved for the likes of Green Day, NOFX, Less Than Jake etc. Their breathtaking performance at the festival was an amazing success Mr.Shiraz and were even crowned MeanFiddler/FutureSound 2001 Champions by the festival promoters beating over 350 bands for the accolade. Since last summer, the bands popularity has been immense. Three VERY successful European tours of Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic etc, and the bands UK tours are regularly packing them in since the launch of their last CD Nellys Kitchen in November 2001. The bands debut single release Sleeping With The Enemy is now eagerly awaited and is due to be launched in the summer of 2003.

The group have been classed by many leading magazines as the ultimate Ska/Core band with a great future ahead of them and have recently supported top drawer international touring bands such as Reel Big Fish, Skindred, Lightyear, Therapy?, Alkaline Trio, Pie Tasters, Flogging Molly, The Toasters, King Prawn, The Slackers, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Big D & The Kids Table, MU330, 4ft Fingers, Vanilla Pod, Union 13 and many more as well as headlining major shows around the UK and Europe.

Mr.Shiraz are one of the hardest working bands in the UK and 2003 sees them enjoying a 4th European tour for their debut album launch later in the the year. Last year the band had a awesome year, and after playing to a capacity show at London's LA2 (twice!), this year already looks like its going to get better and better!
